James A. Nylund

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, his work with clients covers a wide scope of wealth management concerns, including tax-efficiency, retirement income and distribution strategies, life and long-term care insurance analysis, and optimizing Health Savings Accounts. Together with his partner, Ralph C. Good, III, CFP®, and backed by the deep resources and technology provided by Raymond James and Steward Partners, James is well-equipped to provide thoughtful counsel to his clients. As a fiduciary, his recommendations will be objective and in clients' best interest.
Committed to his advisory practice, James regularly reads and advances his education, putting in the effort to stay sharp vis-à-vis market movements and opportunities. He believes that a sound financial plan should be based on tried and true strategies married with ongoing research and consideration of quickly changing capital markets.
James graduated from Bowdoin College in 2006, where he was fortunate enough to meet his wife, Emily Hricko. They live in an old Victorian home in Portland, Maine, and are doting parents to their young son, Elliot. In James's spare time, he enjoys music, tennis, soccer, hot yoga, cooking, and the great outdoors.
